(forordet til Jerry Hopkins' The Rock Story, 1970* - snuppet i bogbørsen ved Gentofte Hovedbibliotek her til aften)
PREFACE
I conducted a little poll the other day. I went out on the Sunset Strip and into Van Nuys (which is in the San Fernando Valley, a suburb of the Sunset Strip) an then into two or three other Los Angeles neighborhoods. I stated asking kids why they liked rock music. Kids starting about eight years old and running into their middle twenties.
Nine out of ten said, "It makes me feel good."
